An eclectic mix of atmospheric and characterful bars means there's something in Ghent to suit every taste.

The Hapsburg Emperor Charles V was born in Ghent, arguably the best single town in all of Belgium for beer.

Ghent is a compact city with a maze of narrow streets, spectacular waterfront and a delight to explore its 1000 years of architecture.

Bruges is a small city with an historic heart composed of medieval waterscapes. One of a number of cities claiming the title "Venice of the North" this is a place that should be on everyone's must visit list.

Add to this the fact that it's in Belgium and has a number of wonderful beer cafés serving a wide range of regional beers and all the elements of a fabulous weekend are in place.
